Its that time again for my geeky craft. I have done a star wars stormtroopers ring and necklace! I am always looking for a way to express my geeky side. Most people when they look at me they don’t see geeky side but come to my work area and it says it loud and clear.
I did a necklace and ring of the stormtroopers helmet!
You will just need some basic things, like a few of my other geeky jewelry. I love using molds and this time around I got my hands on a star wars stormtroopers mold and sculpey in white. I used a little less then half of the clay for every mold.
I use one scalping tool which I really don’t know what its called here is a picture of it. I use it to remove any extra sculpey on the edges of the mold of the star wars stormtroopers.
Once baked for about 15 min at 275 degree let it cool to the touch. The fun begins. I did also a R2-D2 mold too but that for another time.
Now its time to paint. I use acrylic paints that you can find at your local hobby store. The good thing is that you will only need to use two colors, black and white.
Once they are dried its time to apply the clear acrylic sealer.
I know you want to see how they look like…
I want to make the stormtroopers into ring so I got some ring and glued them to the clay molds with E-600.
Ready for the reveal!
Yep, that’s me!
The possibilities are endless! If any of you would like one just send me an email or visit my shop on Etsy!
