A while ago I purchased a mirror window frame from the thrift store. I saw it hidden behind a couple of other frames and I just needed to have it. However, I really did not have a clue what I would do with it. Sometimes we all purchase something believing it will come in handy some time in the future, I know I do it with a shirt or shoes. The frame has been sitting around my apartment for a couple of months, until now! I was able to make a home for it in my new apartment. Here is the DIY window mirror and what I did with it.
First thing I did was remove the windowsill that was I attached. I wanted the mirror to look like an actual window.
Then I had to sand down by hand the frame and remove the mirror.
Now its ready to spray paint, I just love to spray paint because it so much easier and faster. I just need to master it so I don't get any drips. I decided to spray paint it white to match my walls so it blends and looks more natural on the wall.
I also added nobs at the bottom so I can hang my scarfs or hats on it. I just love how it came out. It took a while to find it a new home but it just adds that extra thing to our room.
Till Later...
P.S. Don't mind my dirty mirror, I have yet to buy windex, hehe.

Hi Lauren: What a striking piece--it's lovely, and I particularly like the knobs that you used with it--it's all very pretty!
You found a lovely mirror, and like it without the shelve and white. I also like how you added the knobs! A good window cleaner is 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water - works great and a lot cheaper!
Love this mirror project Loren! I am now following you on linky and GFC. I would love for you to visit, follow back and maybe even link up on my Monday linky party.
