It the season for plaid and I just love everything plaid. I have purchased every fabric I can get my hands on in plaid. I have also made sure all of my family have red and black plaid shirts. So its no surprise when I just could not help myself and decided to plaid my chair cushions. The chairs or stool were originally hot pink and were in my daughters room but we have been needing more seating in the living so they need a makeover.

Reupholstering a chair or stool is super easy. I am going to give you a fast and dirty way to upcycle a plaid chair cushion and get it done in under 15 minutes.

I placed the fabric on the floor to get a idea of how much fabric to cut around the cushion. I also removed the legs.

Once I cut the fabric I went ahead and folded the fabric over and stapled it to the back of the cushion.

You are pretty much done! All you have to do is place the legs back. Ta-Da! You are completely done with plaid chair cushions.
