We did it again. Couple of my blogger friends and I got together and decided to make a challenge to each other with target’s dollar bin. On this challenge we decided to use $1 plastic bin makeover. At first I did not have any clue what I was planning to do with this bin. I did not have anything that I need to organize or needed to use for so what to do? Then when I was outside watering my succulent it came to me! Why not use it as a planter for my many succulents. However, just having a white bin was not going to do it. I always need to do something extra.
I had two vision for the bins and I did not know which one I was going to like most so I decide to to both and see which one looks best at the end. The good thing is that I got two white bin for $1!
The first bin I used black chalkboard paint and I sprayed it. I also did a couple of hole on the bottom to make sure the water will drain if I over water it.
I then spray painted the other white bin with silver metallic paint.
Once it was ll dried I added the soil and my succulents.
Now tell me which plastic bin makeover looks best to you? I am thinking of keeping one on my porch and one in my home. I do love having greenery in the home. Come and take a look at what my other fellow bloggers did with their dollar bins.
