Halloween Tag day 15

Its that time again, I can’t believe we are almost half way through. I being using Tim Holtz distress paint a lot lately and I love the marveling effect it does when applying it to the tag. I like the fact that the paints wont mix or turn brown when mixed. So you can try to mix as much as you want but they will still be two different colors.

Day 11 of Halloween tags

I’ve been inspired by spiders lately, even tho I am not a big fan of them. I don’t enjoy their legs on me. However, you will never see me scream or run away from them because I have too much pride. As a teenager I made myself pick up a daddy long legs and hold it, even tho every bone in my body wanted to scream just to show that I am not scared. So in memory of the wonderful spiders I have made this tag.

What is your secret fear?

Fire Red &Vintage Ladder Redo & Day 8 Halloween Tag

If vintage decor is your style then you know that finding a vintage ladder is not an easy task. However, Nicole over at Design it Girl Blog has found one and painted it a beautiful fire red! I loved it, she really has an eye for the right color to use in each piece she finds and sells.

If you ever wonder how to paint and redo and ladder well you came to the right place. Nicole has a step by step tutorial she has done for this ladder. Click here to see more.

Make sure you tell Nicole I sent you!

Now for the fun, my Halloween tag for day 8. I was inspired by Dylusion stamps and inks.

Today’s tag is all about being goofy and fun with color.

Halloween Tag day 7 of 31 days

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I was super busy with errands and with a little bundle of joy on its her way next month, it seems like I am getting busier. Today I have a tag with poison bottles and skulls. I enjoyed playing around with the new Tim Holtz stamps and of course using the skull stamp. The skull stamp is my favorite one.

The poison bottle tag I wanted to give the feel of being careful of medication they might not be what they seem.  I used mostly Ranger product and I just enjoyed making this tag.

Halloween Tag

It was a busy Sunday for me and getting use to posting everyday can be a little difficult. However I do have my tag. I decided to do a mini spider Halloween tag in a frame. I wanted something that I can use my many mini frames I have gotten at Michael’s and to display on my counter. I don’t know why I have not done more of them. It seems if it does not have glitter it looks boring, hehe.
I used Tim Holtz products with a Martha Stewart punch. I enjoyed using my mini frames and I used the Boo to hide the spider behind. I was hoping to make it seem like a little window to peek into.

Book Folding Origami & Halloween Tag #2

Its has been a while since I have posted a book folding tutorial. I have been trying to figure out more interesting book folding techniques. So I took to the internet and I found someone who actually had a technique and has made a PDF file which you can purchase. I learned how to make words with the pages! Want to see what I did?

Can you tell what it says? I did not say I have master it yet. I am going to try to give it one more try and see if my second attempt is better.  I think I did not use enough pages to spell Halloween.

If you want to see the tutorial I tried click here. It super easy to read.
Now for the fun!  I have Halloween tag #2 for 31 days of Halloween. I decided to use owls for this tag and bling.

I love using frames for my tags. I am not a big fan of glitter but I think this add that extra something especially when it purple, hehe.

Happy Haunting’s!
