Halloween Wonderland ATC swap from Mary M.

I just got these ATC today and I am so very excited!! They are just wonderful and so very creative. They are by Mary M. from Florida. Halloween Wonderland ATC swap

I am supper excite! I started receiving the Halloween Wonderland ATC from the Milliande art community ( http://milliande.ning.com/ ). The first to arrive was Sonja from Serbia! They look wonderful. Thank you so much Sonja for participating. I just love the skeleton hands.








I also received Marie cards from Canada which are so beautifully layered. Marie was inspired by an art class she took. I just love the detail she used to make them. 

 

Thank you so much ladies for participating and for all the goodies you guys sent me! I know this is going to be a wonderful swap and everyone one is going to have wonderful ATC.

3D Flowers

Here is my new craft. I purchased the tree from Michaels.  And decide that it needed some color. I made 3D  paper flowers in red, pink and a lighter red color. I am not a big fan of pink but I believe it adds just enough pop to the tree.

Here is part of the tree before I added the flowers.

The material I used where a flower punch, crop-a-dial, scissors and clue. There is great video by Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Catherine Evans: Fancy Flower Punch 3D Flower: on  Youtude.  It teaches you how to make the 3D flowers.  It's an awesome video and easy to follow. Please check it out.

They are a little time consuming but so worth it. I hope you guys enjoyed it!

First Birthday decoration

My son's first birthday is coming up and I decide to do a couple of thing by hand. Who said birthday's have to be expensive? I used fabric, I had previously purchased from Joann's for a dollar, fabric clue and ribbon. I could sew it but it was 1 o'clock in the morning so I decided to cheat. I cut the fabric 6' 1/2 x 6' 1/2 inches. And clue it all together.
 The end product is a cute little goodie bag for the kids. The good part is I don't have to do many goodie bags because I don't have many kids coming.



I so excite for my little man's birthday. But at times it feels like is just around the corner. Wish me luck!

Whale Warrior

Once upon a time I wanted to be a whale biologist. But that dream never came true. Now I have a new dream. The dream is to raise money to save whales. Please help me and donate whatever you can. It can be $1! It would go a very long way. Please help me make my dream come true and save the whales.
I will be having a raffle every month and one lucky person will be giving a craft project that I will displaying on the blog. I will have a craft project every month until I reach my first goal of $200.00.
