Felt Ninja Turtle Christmas Ornaments

I have kid’s craft idea for you, with felt of course! My son loves Ninja Turtles and apparently every boy goes through this stage in their life. My hubby was the same as a child and my little brother too. Its funny to think that no matter what generation you are Ninja Turtles was part of it. My mother in law sent me my hubby felt dinoours Christmas Ornaments that he did as a child and I thought I would continue the tradition with making some felt character Christmas ornament.
My son was so excited to make Ninja Turtle felt Christmas Ornaments  for this holiday season.  My little boy was so excited to find out that we where going to do Ninja Turtles that he wanted to leave right there and then and go out to the store to get all the colors of felt at the store. If your son is as excited about it as mine was, then here are a few thing you will need…

DIY mini crate stocking holder tutorial

My favorite thing to do this Holiday season is my Christmas Stockings, especially since I am making and extra one for my little baby girl. I decided to make a little vintage crate stocking holders instead of my wooden letters I did a previous year. In each box I added a key element which made it especially for that one person I love so much in my life.

FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam Christmas Wreath Tutorial

One of the first things I always love to do every holiday is my Christmas wreath. They are super easy and fast to do if you have something in mind. I wanted to make a small Christmas wreath to be put in front of my window. Wreath no longer need to be for the front door but can be place any where in the home.  My wreath took less than 15 minutes and now I want to make couple more for my other windows.

How to make a Heart Marquee Sign

I have been wanting a marquee sing for a while and they always seem to be out of my price range. I especially wanted one for my little girl room who is soon to come to this world. I took the bull by the horns as they say and decided to try my hands on making one. I did not want to make mine out of chip board as most tutorial I see because I have children who like to touching everything and wood would last a lot longer.

I wanted to make a  Christmas topiary tree that look like a the red nose reindeer! My hubby has been having a laugh at my reindeer all week. My son just loves it and makes him smile.

Using garland and ornaments to decorate your windows this Christmas

I have a small apartment and every space is real estate! I looked at my plain old windows which I have to still buy curtains for and they needed a little help with adding holiday cheer to my home. As I do every holiday season I take everything out from its bins and try to figure out what I have to work with! I found these garland beauties I had purchased last year and thought hey would look fantastic over my windows this Christmas.

Making a slip cover for your entertainment system

My style for decorating my home has been changing slowly and I have noticed that certain piece of furniture in my home are no longer matching. Since I don't have money to go out and buy or make my very own furniture I have to get a little creative with what I have. So after much debate about moving changing or selling our entertainment system, I decided to cover it up with a slip cover. I just made a slip cover for my couch and decided to do the same thing for our entertainment system.

Ribbon covered Kitchen Cabinet Christmas Decor

If you have not noticed yet I love decorating my white cabinets. I just think it looks so plain when they don't have anything on them. If you remember for Halloween I covered them with burlap and fabric and this time around I decided to use Christmas ribbon!
Its super easy to cover your cabinets and make them look festive with out spending a lot money. I used ribbon that I had left over from last year on my Christmas tree.

White Chalk Paint antique Chandelier tutorial

I got this Halloween Chandelier last year to decorate and I just love having it up all year around but it does not go with my decor all year around. So after much going back and forth. I decided to chalk paint white my Halloween chandelier and give it a little antique look which looks fantastic with my Christmas decor.
