Footstool Reupholstering

A couple of months ago I found a footstool at Goodwill and I reupholstered it. At the time I has painted it white with white chalk paint and added new fabric. I also did a cute number stencil with a sharpie on the top. I always enjoy reupholstering and its one of my favorite hobbies. When I look at a piece of furniture I am always trying to figure out how its put together. I just could not help myself and do another footstool reupholstering again.

I have decide to change the color scheme of my living room due to my new gray coach. I decided to use gray chalk paint over the white.

The only problem I found was what kind of fabric I wanted to use to recover the footstool. I took a little trip to fabric store and I found this lovely black written fabric. I just saw it and I knew that it was going to be perfect. Now the footstool matches with my banker’s chair. I got the banker’s chair for $10 + $5 the footstool + 2 paint = $17 for everything!

I just love how it all turned out and I can’t imagine a better deal than what I got at a Goodwill that day!

What’s is in your wish list to find? I still have a couple more things. I hope to find another wingback chair to match my other one.

Stay Crafty,
