Do you not know what to buy for that geek or nerd in your life and are just getting frustrated! Worry not I have few geek gift ideas for you and any geek in your life would love to have, I actually wish I could have a few myself. I think I get more excited about getting geeky gifts during Christmas than electronics. It mean a little bit more because it makes me feel like they actually get who I am little bit more than anyone else would. Let’s get started with the fun!

Star Wars R2D2 Jewelry Tutorial

I’ve had this beauty for a while and wanted to share it with you all. I made a R2D2 Star Wars ring. I know that we are all geeks at heart or we know someone who is a geek and they would all love a geek ring like this one. All it takes it some basic supplies and a little painting talent to make that geeky person happy.

The mold I got from thinkgeek.com and they have very nice stuff for any geek in your life. I place a little bit of white sculpey in the mood and baked it the oven.

Once the mold has cooled, just pop it out and start painting. I used acrylic paints blue, gray and white.

Once you have painted the R2D2 and dried apply a acrylic sealer. The sealer will help keep the paint on the R2D2. The last thing you want is to drop it and have paint come off, trust me, hehe.

I used a ring setting and glued it with E600. Now you have your very own Star Wars R2D2 ring.You can have a matching set with the Storm Trooper ring and necklace I made last year!

Star Wars Millenium Falcon Necklace DIY

I have another Star Wars Jewelry tutorial! I decided this time around I would do a Star Wars necklace pendant. Using is super easy and you can make it in just a couple of hours. I usually use my mold for ice but they can be use for anything from hard chocolate to jewelry. Who said that jewelry making had to be difficult! You are just going to need a couple of things.

Material:Star Wars MoldSculpey in whiteAcrylic paints Acrylic sealerChain

Slowly press the sculpey into the mold. I cut my mold in half so I can still use the other half to make ice. hehe. Make sure to keep the sculpey even as possible in the mold and press gently.

Take a thick needle and make a hole toward the bottom of the Star Wars ship to be able to place the ring through the pendant. The mold can now go in the oven because it oven safe! Follow the instruction of the sculpey to know how much time to leave in the oven.

Now you have a white Star Wars ship pendant. Using white sculpey helps the detail come out more and is lighter than regular sculpey.

I love how it came out. Its now time for the fun part, time to color!!

I combine both acrylic paint to make a lighter metallic gray to the Millenium Falcon pendant.

After its dry I added a second coat and added black to make sure the detail will pop more.

It looks really scary now, I might have gone a little overboard with the black acrylic.

I went ahead and sanded down some of the paint off to remove some of the black acrylic paint.Then I just added another coat of gray metallic paint to the white parts.

After all the painting is done I just added the acrylic sealer to add some shine and protect the paint. Finally just add the chain and you are done! You have your very own Star Wars millenium falcon Falcon necklace.

Geeky wedding are starting to be very popular. I’ve noticed that been geeky is no longer seen as uncool or shameful. More people want to share their passion with the world and they are not afraid of it. Over a month ago I did a post on geek weddings pictures ideas and it was popular and I though hey, lets find some great inspiration for geek wedding invitations. I was able to find my top 12 geeky invitations.

One of my favorite is the Star War wedding invitations. I was so impress with the amount of detail they put on making these awesome invitations & a video. You can find their story at The Circle is Now Complete.

I also found a WOW (War of Warcraft) set on invitation that you can order online for your wedding! They look so classy and are made by Sealed with Appeal.

If geeky is too much for you, then try something nerdy. How about a floppy disc! I remember using these in high school they were horrible. (The lane)

What do you think of a film canister geek wedding invitation?Trevor and Larrissa had that idea and I think is very unique idea.

You can’t go wrong with a comic book wedding invitation. My hubby did a similar one for when he proposed to me. I found this cute idea over at Reddit forum. If you want to see my proposal comic book come and take a look here.

Geek wedding pictures ideas to inspire every geek! These couples creativity is fantastic. Looking back at my wedding planning I so wish that I would have though of going all geeky. As time passes traditional wedding pictures don’t tell truly tell about the people who are getting married. However, when geeks wed they want their passion to be expressed! If I could do it all over again I would have maybe had a mad hatter event.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D TV Show this Fall

I would have not guesses in a million year that they were going to make a T.V. show about S.H.I.E.L.D but I was super excited to see a familiar face. Yes, you might have guess it already Agent Coulsen! I was so sad and was hoping to see Agent Coulsen in the new Avenger 2 Movie but we get to see him sooner than we expected. S.H.I.E.L.D will premier this fall on Tuesday nights. As you can imagine this time around its not all about the heroes but the regular little people who back them up.

After seeing that trailer are you really going to tell me you are not as excited as me?! We can also hope maybe to see big names coming as guest star on the show. I am so crossing my finger, only time will tell what S.H.I.E.L.D has in stored.

So, if you did not know by know I am a geek at heart and when I saw the new Thor trailer this morning the first thing I told my hubby was that I will be there at midnight. I am not as young as I use to be and with a toddler at home and now pregnant its very difficult for me to be up at midnight. Also Thor comes out when I am nine month pregnant but I told my hubby that my water might break at the movie theater but I am not leaving until the movie ends! Of course he just looked at me and shuck his head. Yes, that’s how much I love my Thor. So if you have not see it yet, here is the new trailer going around.

Its that time of the week! Its time to Geek out with star wars! In my search for the greatness that is star wars I have scoured pinterest and I know bring you cookie cutters! I so need to get my hand on these cute little star wars cookie cutter because no Sunday afternoon can go with out baking star war cookies. Yoda would be quite disappointed in me.
