Recycle Concrete Doughnut to a Planter

Its that time again! Nicole  for Design it girl blog join use today with another amazing recycled craft!

Shhh, but when I am at work I think of the most amazing ideas, and I have to write them down before I forget. That's why I carry my journal everywhere I go, at work, to the grocery store (#publix), the flea markets, everywhere! ideas are constantly coming to me. Its frustrating at times to have such an active imagination, and unable to do anything about it at that very moment.

I wrote a list, I Can't share that just yet, but here is the first #design idea on that list:

1. Concrete donut used for sprinklers, turned planter for #succulent #plants. Spray paint in three shades of blue (not gray lol) then purchase plants from #homdepot.

A great way to start your own succulent garden in your home, patio, and especially if you have a small place were space is limited these little guys come in handy. I love how they turned out. I only sprayed on one coat to so the texture shows through, and it turned of fabulous...here she is:

I love the way it turned out, don't you?
This lovely color choice is called #Slate Blue  by
Rust-Oleum.

Love, love, love

I Purchased the concrete donuts at my local
home depot store, they cost $2.98 a piece.
It can get a little pricey if your planning to purchase
more than three...

$2.98 at the homedepot.com
and each succulent plant cost $3.98 each.
My total came to $20.88 +tax.
Not too bad for a DIY project!

Three of my favorite shades of blue!

here are some more photos. if you have any
questions feel to comment.
