You find the most wonderful thing with out expecting them. I was browsing in Pinterest when I found the most fantastic Idea! They use old vintage wooden spools. I completely fell in love with it and of course I thought, why did I not think of that?! I am not a big sewing person but I love wooden spools. I was thinking of doing a similar wreath with spools for the door of my craft room!
I think this is the most creative thing I have seen done with spools. They actually carved a face on it! I think is perfect for Halloween.
How about a large cable spool? what would you do with it? If only I had the space or knew where to find one! I would love to make it into a patio dinning area. Oh, the ideas are just endless.
Or maybe doing a frame with colorful spools from your sewing kit? Imagine just in time for valentines! I unfortunately don't own enough thread to do this but maybe it not too late to start my collection.

I so would love to own an industrial spool! How many times have you hear that from me already? hehe. Does anyone know where maybe I could get one?
I always need bookshelf space, can you believe that I have books hiding under my bed? So maybe I should make my own little bookshelf out of an industrial spool. Then the hubby would be more persuasive in bringing me one home. hehe.
