On January 7 & 8 here in the Dallas, Texas they are having their first scrapbook conventions of the year! I am so excited to go, I have so much fun at conventions. The people are super sweet and nice and are there to enjoy themselves. The last time I went I meet 3 wonderful ladies who I now spend every other month scrapbooking. Unlike the comic book conventions I attend, the people are a little rude and don't move out of your way even when you scream excuse me! But I still go because the atmosphere of a conventions are like no other. You feel such good energy from everyone. Everyone in that convention hall is just like you a scraper or a geek. Know one can deny that at one time or another we love to belong somewhere in this big wide world and those conventions make me feel a little bit normal.
I will be posting picture and any new goodies I get from the convention. If you are in the Dallas area you should definitely stop by!!
