My hubby and I have move around a lot while we have been together and as children but I have found that their are only two places we really have called home. So I decided to place the silhouettes of the two states on a piece of wood. I love adding touches on wood in our home and this project really added a piece of the outdoor in the home.
If you have a log laying around the backyard then cut it up to a slab but if you don't have one then just go to your local craft store and grab one.
I used two different sizes to make my wood art silhouette. I used acrylic paint on the wood.
Applied a coat of black paint to the surface of the wood with a brush.
Once it dried I made a stencil of the two states with my silhouette cameo.
Added a little heart to the center of one of the silhouettes because that is where my heart will always be. I used white acrylic paint with the stencil.
