I don't know about you but the last room that ever gets any decor love is my master bedroom. But now that I have more experience in DIY projects I just went for it. The first thing I wanted to change was the head board. I am rating this post with
I was able to do this headboard in under 30 minutes. (Just in time for my little monster's nap!)
One of the reasons it took that long was because I had to add an extra 3 inches of fabric to each side to make sure it would cover the panel. I used black fabric to make it blend.
I want to keep changing the fabric with my moods and because of that I did not glue or staple the fabric to the panel.
Ta-Da!! The finale, I used the same fabric from the chair because I had to place the chair in our room due to my little monster wanting to eat and play on the chair. I though why not use the same fabric on the headboard to make everything flow together. I still have a lot of work to do on our master bedroom but its a good start.

This will tie in perfectly with your chair. I bet you will have a very pretty room when you are done. I'm sure there are many women looking for ideas for their bedroom headboards, so thanks for sharing your great idea on the Your Cozy Home Party. I appreciate you linking up each week.
Love the rating system. My project this past week required I work on it once hubby left for work. Great result.
I had seen your repurposed chair in another linky party and absolutely loved it! Your headboard matches perfectly to your chair. Nice work:)
Love it!!! I showed my hubby and he said he loves the fabric. He normally doesn't have a reaction to fabric. LOL
Looks great - and it is nice it was a no hubby task! Much easier that way :o)
I am having a little party called Creative inspirations over my way and it is happening now - I would love if you came by to link this up!

WOW! That looks SO fantastic! And I like how you left the option open to change the fabric at some point...although I love the way it looks with this fabric. Thanks for sharing at Shine on Fridays!
