Headboard Tutorial!

I don't know about you but the last room that ever gets any decor love is my master bedroom. But now that I have more experience in DIY projects I just went for it. The first thing I wanted to change was the head board. I am rating this post with
I was able to do this headboard in under 30 minutes. (Just in time for my little monster's nap!)

One of the reasons it took that long was because I had to add an extra 3 inches of fabric to each side to make sure it would cover the panel. I used black fabric to make it blend.

I want to keep changing the fabric with my moods and because of that I did not glue or staple the fabric to the panel.

Ta-Da!! The finale, I used the same fabric from the chair because I had to place the chair in our room due to my little monster wanting to eat and play on the chair. I though why not use the same fabric on the headboard to make everything flow together. I still have a lot of work to do on our master bedroom but its a good start.

Love the rating system. My project this past week required I work on it once hubby left for work. Great result.

Love it!!! I showed my hubby and he said he loves the fabric. He normally doesn't have a reaction to fabric. LOL
