Confessions of a stay at home mommy Interview!

Today  I am joined by Macy from Confessions of a stay at home mommy. I just love talking to other bloggers to get and insight to what goes on in their daily life. Some times I forget that behind very blog is a family living their life. I hope you all enjoy this journey with Macy.

1. The one question that you all might get asked the most is, What got you in to blogging?

I started blogging because my daughter has ADHD and I had to adapt, and learn to keep her calm with craft projects, and fun activities. I posted pictures of my projects onto Facebook and I had a lot of friends ask me for advice. I decided to put all of my ideas and frustrations into one place.

2. What made you decide to blog about crafting?

My blog started out as more of a parenting blog, but over time my projects with my kids evolved into projects that I did once they were asleep. Now I post both.

3. What other talents do you have that your bloggers might not know about?

I blog about everything I do. My biggest obsession right now is crochet, but I also love to write and I have begun outlining a book.

4. Do you have any advice to new bloggers?

Just keep at it. Whether you have 3 followers or 3000 you have a voice that deserves to be heard.

5. Do you feel competition from other bloggers?

Not at all, which is weird for me because I am very competative. I am, however, in awe of blogs such as Tatertots and Jello, and Under The Table and Dreaming.

6. What's your favorite craft project?

I love my sunburst mirrors. I have a set of 5 hanging in my dining room that are made with things like matches, crayons, and paintbrushes.

7. What blogger do you admire the most or what blog do you visit the most?

I am crazy about Tatertots and Jello, and Under The Table and Dreaming, but I most admire Stephanie from Recovering As A Mother (http://recoveringasamother.

blogspot.com/)  because she has the most strong, courageous soul of anyone I have every met.

8. Where do you see your blogging career taking you?

I would love the opportunity to try new things and write about them. I have already had the opportunity to try out different products and review a few wonderful books. I really hope that can continue.

   9. Where do you see your blog in five years? 

   With a loyal following and lots of interesting  articles. In 5 years all 3 of my kids will be in        school and I will hopefully be able to devote more time to my blog.

10. How many hours a week do you spend blogging?

Lately, 3 or 4. This time of year is NUTS, but hopefully things will settle down so I can blog more.

11. If you are a new blogger do you seek help from others?

I'm not really new to blogging, but I am also not the most experienced blogger. I love when others post blog tips because I can use all the help I can get!

12. How many post do you typically put up on a week? 

One to two a week, but I'm aiming for 3 or 4.
